Colossians 3:23–24
Serving God In Ordinary Responsibilities
Faithfulness in everyday work is part of Christian discipleship.
Teaching
Much of life is made up of ordinary responsibilities. Work, family care, appointments, and routine tasks may not feel spiritual, but our attitude toward them reveals our character.
We serve God by being dependable, honest, and attentive. Faithfulness does not require public recognition. It requires doing what is ours to do with integrity.
Put It Into Practice
Choose one ordinary responsibility you have been avoiding. Complete it carefully and treat it as an act of obedience to God.
Takeaway
Everyday responsibilities matter to God. Faithfulness in ordinary work is part of serving Him well.
